BL!SSS Magazine (2016) featured "Stuck To Me," a firsthand account, written by Yong-Ki of Mark Oblow's first solo exhibition at Factory 413 in Los Angeles. The opening brought together photography, block prints, resin works, and repurposed skateboards, documenting an important milestone in Oblow's career.

The Bold Italic - One & Only (2012) was an editorial feature celebrating independent makers, artisans, and custom-made goods from the San Francisco Bay Area. The feature included THE SOLITARY ARTS Piano Pinner, selected by Dave Franklin.

HIDDEN CHAMPION Issue #24 (Spring 2012) featured artwork by Haroshi on the cover, an artist Yong-Ki Chang later collaborated with on a TOGETHER TOGETHER board in 2021. This issue also included THE SOLITARY ARTS, "BIG RED" board in the magazine’s Street Essentials section, presented through Japanese distributor Maxwell Distribution. 

THRASHER Magazine, Issue #352 (November 2009) featured THE SOLITARY ARTS in the magazine's "Monster Mash" column, highlighting Geoff McFetridge and Yong-Ki Chang.

INC. Magazine (November 2006) featured Comet Skateboards founder Jason Salfi on the cover. Mounted on Salfi's skateboard are THE SOLITARY ARTS, "DRIFTERS" wheels developed by Yong-Ki Chang with graphics by Geoff McFetridge. The issue profiled innovative and emerging businesses, including Comet's solar-powered manufacturing operation.
